With the Titanic’s 100 Year anniversary this weekend, ships are the focus.  From the Normandie to the Grace Line, travel by boat has always seemed romantic and luxurious.  Some of the elegance remains with ships like the Queen Mary 2, but the majority of media attention on cruises has been focused on the disasters- the sicknesses on board, the break downs and, most recently, the dreadful capsize in Italy.  

Yet with vintage posters, the nostalgia remains.

Nicolas wines put together propaganda to counteract the uncivilized American cocktail which was making inroads into their wine sales. These pieces were often very amusing and featured the wide-eyed Nicolas waiter who was often shocked by his guests` questions and desires. In this instance the guest is yelling that he can`t hear what he is drinking. See more Iribe posters on the website- there are 8 in all- perfect for a wine cellar!
